DESCRIPTION:CHOPIN PLUS 2027 \nThis Chopin Plus recital brings together two defining voices of nineteenth-century piano music. \nThis Chopin Plus recital brings together two of the defining figures of nineteenth-century piano music: Frédéric Chopin and Franz Liszt. Almost exact contemporaries\, they transformed the expressive and technical possibilities of the piano in profoundly different ways. \nChopin’s late works reveal an increasingly complex musical language in which lyricism\, harmonic experimentation and formal freedom become inseparable. From the introspective world of the Two Nocturnes Op. 62 and the visionary Polonaise-Fantaisie Op. 61 to the brilliance of the Fourth Scherzo\, the programme traces different dimensions of his mature style. \nLiszt expands the perspective from poetic reflection to landscape\, literary imagination\, virtuosity and operatic transformation.
